NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NORTH EAST
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of North East will conduct a public hearing on September 10 at 7:15pm at the Town of North East Town Hall in Millerton, New York on the adoption of proposed Local Law No. 3 of the Year 2026, which is entitled: "Override the Tax Levy Limit for Fiscal Year 2027 Pursuant to General Municipal Law 3-c". If this Local Law is enacted, the Town Board of the Town of North East, County of Dutchess, will be authorized to adopt a budget for fiscal year 2027 that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the limit specified in General Municipal Law 3-c. Any person desiring to be heard on said Local Law will be provided with an opportunity to do so at said public hearing. By Order of the Town Board dated August 13, 2026.
