LEGAL NOTICE
A meeting of the plot owners of the Amenia Island Cemetery Association will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:00 p.m. at the Amenia Town Hall, 4988 Route 22 Amenia, NY for the purpose of electing trustees and for such other matters that may properly come before the meeting.
The annual meeting of the trustees will immediately follow the meeting of the plot owners.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Amenia will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on the 5th day of December, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, Town of Amenia, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, New York 12501, at which time all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard as to whether the Town Board of the Town of Amenia shall adopt “Local Law No. _x__ of the Year 2024, Creating a New Chapter _x__ entitled ‘Advisory Boards’”.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the purpose and intent of the proposed Local Law is to provide authority for the creation of advisory boards.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Proposed Action is a Type II Action as determined in 6 NYCRR 617.5(c)(33) and, accordingly, the Town Board hereby expressly determines that this action is not an action that requires review pursuant to the provisions of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed Local Law No. _x__ of the Year 2024 is available for review and inspection at the Office of the Town Clerk during regular office hours, at the Town Hall, Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia New York and on the Town’s website at www.ameniany.gov.
