PINE PLAINS — Shedding a light on the intricate stories and characters surrounding the town of Pine Plains, the Pine Plains Free Library and the Little Nine Partners Historical Society joined together to host the 2021 Evergreen Lantern Cemetery Tours on Friday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 23.

Featuring six local actors in elaborate costumes, the town’s history was brought to life from the grave side of some of the most storied historic characters. The actors kept their audience captivated until the end.
